In the certificates of the products claimed to be conforming to the SRC slipping standard should have SRC label attached. Product certificates should be given by AB accredited organizations. TSE (Turkey), SATRA (UK), CTC (France), RICCOTEST (Italy) are some of these organizations.
These certificates can be distinguished from the label of “EC Type Certification” on them. All the material specifications of the boots, particularly protecting toecap, should be stated on the certificate.
- It is obligatory to provide a different certificate for each product group, therefore it should be checked whether the model written on the certificate is equivalent to the name of the model you would like to purchase.
- There are different certificates for materials such as steel toecap. You should be careful in case these certificates are presented as if they were a part of the product itself.
- At least OB standard should be looked for in boots with anti-static and double density sole.
STANDARD- PROTECTION TYPE
There are standard protection types applied for work safety boots in Europe.
(S4,S5,O5.OB,etc.) The customer needs to be comprehensively informed about these standards and be recommended standard boots appropriate for the work environment. During purchasing, the features of the product should be reviewed and the conformity with the standard in the label should be checked. Considering these factors while deciding the work safety boots minimizes the risks and maximizes the efficiency of the consumer.
ABBREVIATIONS – STANDARDS and EXPLANATIONS
EN ISO 20347 Work Safety Boots (With no toecap impact resistance)
OB: OB: Anti-static, shock absorber heel area
O5: Anti-static, shock absorber heel area, water resistant, steel midsole
EN ISO 20345 Work Safety Boots
S4: S4: Anti-static, shock absorber heel area boot with steel toecap protection.
S5: Anti-static, shock absorber heel area boot with steel toecap + steel midsole protection
EN ISO 20345 and EN ISO 20347 TEST VALUES are European standards which passed the tests in EN ISO 20344 standard and which belong to safe shoes with high performance material.

SOLE
PU/PU SOLE
Medium sole with low density perfectly conforms to the heel shocks and vibrations as well as its lightness and flexibility. SRC certified outsole with slip resistance, high density against erosion, hydrocarbon, oil and cold environments.
PU/TPU SOLE
Medium sole with low density perfectly conforms to the heel shocks and vibrations of double density sole as well as its lightness and flexibility. SRC certified outsole with slip resistance, high density against erosion, hydrocarbon, oil and cold environments.
PU MOSTRA
Produced from double and single density polyurethane. Washable PU Mostra which provides a much comfortable using experience due to its shock and sweat absorber feature.
